It is Thursday of our first week here in Kailua Kona on Big Island, Hawaii.  The plan for today was to drive out to the Queens Market at Waikaloa to find the 'Crocs' footwear store.  Personally, I'm not a big fan of the clunky looking ones that are popular today so in the clearance section I did find a pair of the 'Z' ones I like for $29.00 so I'm happy.  Even Barb found a pair of black sandals as well.   Once we left there, I drove us up to Hamakauas Macadamia Nut Company in Kawaihae.  I'd been a few times prior with other friends and family.  It has changed a bit inside but they still provided samples of all the different flavours of coatings on the nuts so you can purchase the canned flavours you like.  We liked a few!  Hey!  You can even get spam flavoured ones!! Universal at Orlando

Monday, March 27th was travel day. We arrived at our rental house in the dark and quickly sorted out the six bedrooms! Tuesday morning arrived....late morning, as we were all exhausted after our 3 am morning call to get to our respective airports for 4! We mainly spent the day shopping for food and getting unpacked and organized. Wednesday, yesterday, we were up and out the door just before 8 and headed to Universal. What a great fun day. Basically we did the rides throughout the park, although the "Hulk" roller coaster was not on my agenda, my granddaughter Cass, who is 11 loved it and would have gone again! The two boys, Jared and Jacob went off on their own for a bit, but we all met for late lunch at two, then again for 7:30 when it was time to leave. The rides were awesome, the 3D.
